Hope y’all are having a fantastic Spring. If you’re in Oregon my only comment for you is… “Can you believe this weather?!” And as a rare occurrence, I’m not talking about the rain.

ENJOY IT!

Ok, lets check in.

music stuff.

One of my top bands,
The Weather Machine, released their album last month, and it’s on iTunes now, SO I think you should pick up a copy. Slater is an outstanding storyteller, and this is a great collection of songs. Give it a listen, and let me know your favorite tracks, I’d love to gush over mine with you as well! Getting to see them perform last month, was definitely one of the best things about April. I’ve been listening to Slater’s (TWM front-man) music since last spring, and every time I see a live gig, it’s like I’m watching him for the first time. SO GOOD.

The fantastic David Ramirez has released an EP called The Rooster. It’s also on iTunes for only $3.99… yeah, you heard right. Ok, so this is a MUST. Please go grab a copy and listen well. David keeps on making music that just hits home, with every word and every note. I’m really loving the progression of his music, and storytelling—which mirrors a lot of the things we all go through. I simply love it. Let me know how you like it.

Also, he’ll be hitting the road this summer, and if you get the chance to see him live, please do so. You will not regret it. He’s one of those artist that you got to experience live… I can’t stress that enough. David will be in Portland on May 30, at the White Eagle. Hope to see y’all there!

Paper Route and Noisetrade have teamed up again, and this time they’re sharing their album (for a LIMITED TIME), The Peace of Wild Things—as a free download. If we’re friends, or you follow me on any social media site, you’ll of course know of my UNDYING love for Paper Route. They are, and will always be my favorite band of all time… but most of all, my buddies for life. This particular album has been a incredible part of my life, and I honestly think everyone should own it. What are you waiting for?

The band will also be doing a headlining summer tour, starting on the 20th of this month. Dates for Portland have not be announced yet, but I know it won’t be long. I can’t wait to see them again. YOU should too!
